Unwound Hounds:

Unwound Hounds provides a service of therapeutic massage - Canine Myofunctional Therapy (CMT) - for dogs in the Sutherland Shire and St George areas. Unwound Hounds will work with your vet to provide the best possible treatment outcome for your dog. CMT can assist with arthritis, anxiety, tension, muscle release, pain, flexibility and circulation.

Unwound Hounds started when Deborah's dog, Wheeler, was diagnosed with hip displasia at 1 year old. Prescribed with a course of yearly injections, he quickly needed them more frequently, until he was getting injections every three months. With the only suggestions being surgery or massage, Deborah's hunt started for a person to massage Wheeler. After giving up hope of finding a therapist close to the Sutherland Shire, she thought - why can't I learn? It wasn't long before she was practicing on Wheels, and seeing small improvements - he hasn't had any injections for over twelve months.

If you have any questions, or would like to make a booking with the fabulous Deb, find them on facebook, or go to https://www.unwoundhounds.com.au/
